Dr. Jeff Hookstead, Veterinarian

Dr. Hookstead graduated from the UW-School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He began his career at a clinic in northern Wisconsin. In 1995, Jeff and his wife Rita moved to Randolph to provide veterinary services to Randolph and the surrounding communities. He and his staff are thrilled to be offering Randolph services no other clinic in their community offers.

In Jeff’s spare time, he enjoys the outdoors working on his marsh, hunting, or planning for the various hunting seasons offered in Wisconsin. He also enjoys biking, gardening and spending time with his family. Dr. Hookstead is an avid outdoorsman.

Rita Hookstead, Marketing Manager

Rita is very honored to own the veterinary clinic with her husband, Dr. Jeff. After having received her BBA from UW-Whitewater in finance in 1986 and marrying Dr. Jeff in 1988, she decided she would like to further her education. In 1996, with three children in tow, she earned her MBA from UW-Whitewater in marketing. For the past 16 years, she has been providing marketing services to companies across the country. Within the past five years her work with one particular company, The Date Safe Project, Inc. has been so fulfilling that she now focuses her efforts solely on providing marketing for the Marsh View Veterinary Clinic and The Date Safe Project, Inc. Although Jeff and Rita work side by side to provide quality compassionate care, you will not see her at the clinic very often. She is most often found in her office located near their home. By working next to their home, it has allowed Rita to raise their three children and be there for them whenever they may need her. In addition, with Dr. Jeff’s busy schedule, it has also allowed Rita to be home after school and in the evenings when Dr. Jeff is on calls.

In her spare time, Rita likes to train and compete in triathlons. Her racing has taken her across the country and she hopes that some day she will be able to see different parts of the world by taking part in new and exciting races. Rita also loves being involved in community activities such as teaching at church and coaching track at the high school If you see Rita, it will most likely be while she is on one of her bike or runs, running with the track team, or running errands for the family. Always feel free to just stop her and say ‘hi.”

Pam Drzonek, Veterinary Assistant

Hello one and all! My name is Pam Drzonek (nee: Wade) and I am very excited to join the Marsh View team! I was born and raised in Randolph; a 1984 graduate from RHS. My husband, Randy, is also a RHS graduate. We have been married for 17 years.

Randy and I live just outside Randolph and our two boys Adam and Aaron attend the Randolph schools as well. Our family also consists of two young black labs, Shadow and Maddy. At times they can be a handful, as their abundant bursts of energy drain us of ours!

Everyone here at the Marsh View Clinic has been so wonderful, kind and especially patient as I step into tune with this team of talented multi-taskers. I sincerely look forward to meeting all of our clients, as well as the fuzzy patients you bring in! Thank you Marsh View Vet Clinic for the opportunity to be a part of this exciting endeavor!

Amber Perdzock, Professional Groomer

She graduated with honors and is looking forward to bringing her education and experience to our clinic. Amber has always enjoyed working with animals from working on the farm to her dogs at home. She enjoys camping, fishing and being outdoors. She also enjoys making hand crafted jewelry. In the summer you will know when the groomer is in when you see her newly restored AMC Pacer proudly displayed in the parking lot.

Laura, Clinic Cleaner

Laura was born and raised in Beaver Dam and is very excited to be working at Marsh View Vet Clinic, which gives her the opportunity to do two things she loves: working with animals and cleaning. Laura was really unsure of a career field that fit her until five years ago when she brought home a chocolate lab puppy named Sam, who had numerous health issues and behavior problems. She fell in love with him and knew working with animals was the right fit for her. Away from work, Laura likes spending time with friends and family especially her nieces and nephews, watching movies, and doing pretty much anything outdoors. Laura looks forward to meeting and playing with all your dogs and cats.
